YOCOF was invited to attend the Second Nano New Materials Technology and Industry Forum.

2024-11-04

Professor Zhang Zhenjie from the College of Chemistry at Nankai University, one of the founders of YOCOF New Materials (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "YOCOF"), was recently invited to participate in the Second Nano New Materials Technology and Industry Forum held in Suzhou. This forum brought together experts and scholars in the field of nanomaterials from home and abroad to jointly discuss the latest achievements and application prospects of nanotechnology in the field of new materials.

Professor Zhang Zhenjie delivered a report titled "Industrialization Progress of COF Homoporous Resins" at the forum, which attracted widespread attention from the participating experts and scholars. In the report, Professor Zhang introduced in detail the latest research achievements of covalent organic framework (COFs) homoporous resins and the key breakthroughs in their industrialization process. As a new type of nanomaterial, COFs homoporous resins have broad application potential in major national demand areas such as biomedical separation and purification, catalyst supports, gas storage and separation, and nuclear waste treatment due to their unique structures and properties.

In the report, Professor Zhang also outlined the challenges and opportunities in the industrialization process of COFs homoporous resins. He pointed out that currently, YOCOF has achieved large-scale production of multiple COFs products, and with the continuous advancement of technology and the support of industrial policies, it is expected to achieve broader applications and commercialization in the next few years.

The participants stated that the research and practice of the YOCOF team in the field of COFs homoporous resins have provided valuable experience for the industry and offered new ideas for the industrialization of nano new materials technology. With the maturation and application of COFs homoporous resin technology, it is expected that this innovative material will demonstrate its advantages in more fields and provide a continuous driving force for the development of nano new materials.

YOCOF is the world's first company dedicated to the industrialization of covalent organic framework (COFs) materials. Based on the pioneering molten green synthesis method developed by Professor Zhang Zhenjie from the College of Chemistry at Nankai University, it has overcome the global challenge of mass production of COFs materials and has established the world's first ton-scale production line for COFs materials. The specific surface area of YOCOF's products exceeds 2,000 ㎡/g, and this indicator far surpasses that of all mass-produced porous materials on the market.
